Summer Learning Journey, Day 1

 Activity 1.

1.To become a New Zealand citizen you need to promise to be loyal to Queen Elizabeth.

2. The largest city in NZ is Auckland but Wellington is the capital.

3.In New Zealand you need to drive on the left side of the road.

    Hi AJ it is me Bells. You have chosen very interesting facts! It is crazy the you need to make a promise to be loyal to the queen to be a New Zealand citizen... I haven't promised. I may not even meet the queen and I still have to. Anyway keep up the great work.

    Kia ora AJ,

    I just realised that we never commented on this blog post! Apologies. You chose three great facts about New Zealand. There has been a lot of issues and talk in the media recently about tourists driving on the wrong side of the road (the right side). Often it is because the tourists get off a long haul flight and hop straight into a car rental so when they are driving they are tired and forget that NZ is different. What do you think we could do to try and reduce the risk of tourists driving on the wrong side of the road?
